Carol and Jackson announce the first meeting of the Shaman’s Heart Drum Circle

When: Sunday February 14^th from 2:00 to 5:30
We will gather beginning at 2 and start the ritual at 2:30.
We will meet at this time on the second Sunday each month.

Where: Our house 4665 Cottonwood Lane Plymouth, MN 55442.

What to bring: a drum or rattle if you have one—we have several extras if you need them.

We thought it would simpler if we provide light snacks and have a basket out for a free will offering to cover the cost.

So what is a drum circle you ask? It is a gathering of people who use drumming and drum journeys to receive healing energy and to explore questions. We enter non-ordinary reality through drumming and share our experiences in the circle. No drugs are used—in fact people are asked to refrain from alcohol and drugs (or prescription drugs in non prescription ways) before coming to the circle.

We want to include both experienced drummers and new comers. To accomplish this we will introduce the elements and share from the knowledge and various traditions in the group. We anticipate that the need for this running description will diminish as the group forms. Questions are welcome and encouraged. We look forward to seeing you!
